Hello

Pastor Jeannette is delighted to be back in the PNW after five years pastoring a Covenant church in Vermont. Although the people and places she left will always hold a special place in her heart, she doesn’t miss the Northeastern United States climate! 

She and her husband Lynn enjoy their new home in the North Puget Sound. She realizes she still has a lot to learn about town and country living. Jeannette feels privileged to pastor this group of generous, caring people. Although the church is small, it is mighty. The food bank and before and after school club ministries speak of their commitment to serving others.

    She has a lifelong passion for God’s word—both teaching, preaching, and writing. She’s a relational leader and loves any opportunity for a cup of coffee and chat. In her spare time, she coaches other pastors. As an Enneagram 4, creativity and originality are important to her. (ask her about Enneagram types) Jeannette is of the opinion that life is infinitely better with music—she plays the piano and thrives when she gets the chance to sing with a choir. She and her husband love to explore the beauty all around them—walks and hikes keep them renewed. They can’t wait to discover the beauty of the North Cascades.

    She and family have traveled to many places in the world in her former life as a linguist with Wycliffe Bible translators. Although she loves discovering cultures and people, her greatest joy is when her family all gathers around. Her oldest son practices public interest law and he and his wife brought two wonderful grandchildren into the family! Jeannette’s second son works remotely with adult learners as they finish college. Her twin daughters are serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Mainland SE Asia.

    She is eager to help this church mature in grace and loving service to the community surrounding us. Come grow with us! Bring your unique gifts and talents and build our beloved community!
